I'm Obed Ansa Akyampong, a senior web and mobile developer. I build new products for founders and product teams, and I bring the tools existing businesses already run into the present.

A lot of my work now falls into two buckets. The first is AI integration: assistants, document understanding, search and automations built into the software a team already uses, with evals, guardrails and costs kept under control. The second is digitising and modernising workflows: replacing spreadsheets, paper, WhatsApp threads and ageing PHP or jQuery systems with software people actually want to open.

Underneath both sits the same craft. Web applications in SvelteKit, Next.js and Laravel. Mobile apps in React Native, or Svelte with Capacitor, shipped to both stores with the backend to match. I take projects from the first brief through design, engineering and launch, usually as the single engineer responsible for the whole thing.

How I work

Prototype in code, not slides. Test on real devices. Cut scope before cutting quality. Ship with telemetry so problems are seen before they are reported.
